Special design for high temperature and high pressure environment

For the 15.5:1 high compression ratio characteristics of the QSK60 engine, the valve cover adopts a three-layer composite structure:

The surface layer is made of ADC12 aluminium alloy, which is processed by micro-arc oxidation to form a 25μm ceramic layer (HV≥1200).

The middle layer has an inlaid copper-based heat dissipation grid, and its thermal conductivity is increased by 40% (compared with traditional cast iron parts).

The base material is an A356-T6 aluminium alloy body, with a yield strength of 310MPa, and it has been verified by MIL-STD-810G thermal shock.

Revolutionary sealing system

The topology-optimised sealing groove features a wave-shaped air channel designed by CFD flow field analysis. Together with the EPDM rubber sealing ring, it can achieve 0.02mm level face pressure control.

The dynamic compensation mechanism includes an integrated coil spring-type pressure plate, which provides automatic compensation for thermal expansion deformation (compensation amount ± 0.3mm).

The multi-layer metal gasket has a stainless steel/graphite/copper three-layer composite structure and shows no leakage after 100,000 times of thermal cycle test.

Vibration control and NVH optimisation
