Engine Business Unit

The Engine Business Unit produces and distributes diesel and natural gas engines with a wide range of power, as well as corresponding component products, for use in fields such as automobiles, industry, and power generation equipment. The Cummins engine has a displacement of 2.8-95 liters and a power range of 74-5500 horsepower. It is widely used in road vehicles such as heavy-duty trucks, medium-sized trucks, buses, RVs, light commercial vehicles, and pickup trucks, as well as in off- highway fields such as engineering machinery, mining equipment, agricultural machinery, ships, and railways.

Power systems

In 2016, Cummins merged its electric power business and high-horsepower business to form the Power Systems business unit. The high-horsepower business focuses on high-power engines that provide power for electricity, mining equipment, ship engines, oil and gas fields, and railways. The products from power system are used for backup power, distributed power generation, and auxiliary power supply on mobile devices. The product line includes diesel and alternative fuel generator sets (2.5 kW~2.7 MW), alternators (0.6 KVA~30000 KVA), generator set engine, control system, transfer switches (40 amps~4000 amps), and switchgear. They are widely used in fields such as office buildings, hospitals, factories, municipal, power plants, universities, entertainment and leisure vehicles, yachts and home power supply.

New energy power

The New Energy Power Business Unit of Cummins provides customers with a full industry chain scheme for "production, storage, and application". It designs and produces proton exchange membrane and solid oxide fuel cell systems and core components, as well as high-pressure hydrogen storage systems, electrolytic water hydrogen production equipment, and megawatt level hydrogen energy and multi energy coupling solutions. Its fuel cell technology provides power for various application scenarios, including buses, trucks, rail transit, ships, and power generation.
