National Standard GB/T 2820 Standard

1. PRP Continuous Power (Prime Power)

- Definition: The maximum power at which the unit can operate continuously for long periods, with allowance for 110% overload for 1 hour within every 12 hours.

- Use: Daily main power supply, long-term uninterrupted power supply (factories, residential backup units).

- Label: PRP / Prime Power.

2. ESP Standby Power (Emergency Power)

- Definition: Short-term emergency use during mains power outage; cannot be continuously run at full load, maximum 1 hour within every 12 hours, overload not allowed.

- Use: Backup power for fire safety, hospitals, data centers.

- Value for the same model: Approximately 10% higher than Prime Power; Label: ESP / Standby Power.

3. LTP Limited-Time Power (Time-Limited Power)

- Definition: Allowed to operate up to 500 hours per year, continuous full-load operation per instance not exceeding 500 hours, no overload capacity.

- Use: Temporary construction sites, short-term project power supply.

4. COP Continuous Base Power (Constant Load Power)

- Definition: Continuous full-load operation under constant load throughout the year, without time limitation, no overload margin, output remains stable.

- Use: Independent power stations, scenarios with constant annual load.

Quick Reference Distinction
