Measures to avoid high temperatures in diesel generator sets
1. After disassembling and assembling the dust screen, large debris should be removed using tools such as brushes, and then the dust screen should be rinsed with high-pressure water flow or gas. In order to facilitate the cleaning of the core body of the radiator, spare parts such as the air guide cover and fan protective screen should be disassembled and assembled.
2. When flushing the radiator, the nozzle should be as perpendicular as possible to the plane of the radiator, and the nozzle should be kept 10-30mm away from the radiator. The nozzle pressure should be adjusted according to the thickness of the radiator core. If factors permit, the diesel generator can be cleaned with high-pressure water flow and then cleaned again with compressed air, using the same method as above. After cleaning is completed, reassemble the removed components to complete the cleaning operation.
3. Insufficient opening of the thermostat will reduce the heat dissipation capacity of the diesel generator cooling mechanism in the large cycle. If the diesel generator is at high temperature, the thermostat can be placed in water for heating inspection, and the opening distance of the thermostat is usually 8-10mm. Therefore, when inspecting the upper and lower chambers of the radiator, the temperature difference between the upper and lower chambers of the diesel generator is usually between 6-12 ℃. If it is too small, the water pump can be replaced.
Is your diesel generator set fuel-efficient? How can diesel generator sets be used to save fuel?
1, Increase the temperature of diesel engine cooling water
An increase in water temperature can facilitate the complete combustion of diesel fuel, reduce the viscosity of diesel generator oil, reduce motion resistance, and achieve fuel efficiency.
2, Maintain optimal fuel supply angle
If the fuel supply angle is offset, it will cause the fuel supply time to be too late and fuel consumption to increase significantly. So a better fuel supply angle should be maintained.
3, Ensure that the machine does not leak oil
Diesel engine fuel delivery pipes often have leaks due to uneven joint surfaces, deformed gaskets, or damaged surfaces. The solution is to apply valve paint to the gasket and place it on a glass plate to grind it flat, then connect the oil pipe joint. Install a diesel recovery device, which can connect the return oil pipe on the oil nozzle to the hollow screw using a plastic pipe, allowing the return oil to flow into the fuel tank. Check the diesel generator set once a day to ensure that it does not leak oil.
