Load connection scheme

1. Direct connection

2. Indirect connection

Indirect connection refers to the connection between the output port of the generator set and the load equipment through distribution boxes or switches. This connection method can better control the current and voltage of the load equipment, improve the stability and safety of the generator set.

In indirect connections, equipment such as distribution boxes or switches can adjust and control current and voltage according to the needs of the load equipment. Meanwhile, if there is a short circuit or malfunction in the load equipment, these devices can provide protection and avoid affecting the generator set.

Grounding connection scheme

Grounding refers to connecting the metal casing or grounding wire of the generator set to the ground to ensure the safety of personnel and the normal operation of equipment. Grounding can be divided into the following two methods:

1. Directly grounded

Direct grounding refers to connecting the metal casing or grounding wire of the generator set directly to the ground. This method is simple and convenient, but it requires ensuring that the ground has good conductivity to ensure the effectiveness of grounding.

2. With neutral grounding

Grounding with neutral point refers to connecting the neutral point of the generator set to the ground. This method can improve the safety and stability of the generator set, avoid electric shock and equipment damage caused by grounding failure.

In grounding with a neutral point, attention should be paid to the selection and connection method of the neutral point. Generally speaking, the minimum voltage point should be selected for the neutral point to ensure the effectiveness of grounding. Meanwhile, reliable connection methods such as screw fastening or welding should be used for the connection of the neutral point.

When using diesel generator sets, attention should be paid to the issues of load connection and grounding connection. The load connection can be directly or indirectly connected, and the specific selection needs to be determined based on the power and characteristics of the load equipment. The grounding connection can be directly grounded or grounded with a neutral point, and attention should be paid to the conductivity of the ground and the selection and connection method of the neutral point.
