1, Adjustment of oil pressure

There are generally two smoothing methods for diesel generator sets: pressure smoothing and splash smoothing. If the oil pressure is too low or too high, it will affect the smoothness quality of diesel generator sets. Therefore, diesel generator sets must control the oil pressure within the regular planning during operation.

2, Adjustment of scheduler

During the operation of diesel generator sets, there are often problems such as the charging ammeter pointer not moving and the charging current being too high or too low. If the charging current of the battery is too high, it will shorten the service life of the battery; If it is too small, the battery cannot be charged on time. When operating a diesel generator set, if the charging current displayed on the charging ammeter is too high, the current limiting spring of the scheduler should be adjusted to shorten the spring, causing the current to decrease. Otherwise, the current will increase. During the scheduling process, be careful not to exert too much force and gently touch until it meets the requirements to stop.

3, Adjustment of electric fan belt

If the belt of the electric fan in a diesel generator set is too tight, it will intensify the wear of the bearings of the DC AC generator, water pump, and electric fan. If the belt is too loose, it will cause a lack of air flow in the electric fan, affecting the cooling effect of the cooling water. At the same time, the output voltage of the generator will decrease, and the flow rate of the water pump will decrease, which cannot meet the requirements of operation. So, it is necessary to schedule the electric fan belt according to the application requirements.

4, Pressure reduction adjustment of diesel engines

During the operation of diesel generator sets, they are often difficult to start due to the influence of climate or insufficient battery power. At this time, operators can use the method of reducing pressure on the intake valve of the diesel engine to reduce compression ratio, improve starting resistance, and start the diesel generator set.
